Dr. Jag Anand is a dedicated Retina Surgeon and Ophthalmologist who has proudly served the people of Calgary Skyview for nearly two decades. As an immigrant with professional experience in Canada, India, the Middle East, Australia, and the UK, he deeply understands the challenges South Asian families face—whether it's access to quality healthcare, economic opportunities, or ensuring a brighter future for the next generation.
With his extensive global experience and medical career spanning Australia, New Zealand, the UK, and Canada, Dr. Anand has seen firsthand how different healthcare systems operate. He is committed to fighting for a stronger, more accessible, and culturally inclusive healthcare system that meets the needs of Calgary Skyview's diverse communities.

With nearly two decades of experience in healthcare—both in Canada and internationally—I have seen firsthand how systemic challenges impact families, seniors, and working professionals. I am dedicated to addressing Canada’s healthcare crisis and the social issues that affect our community, including affordability, justice reform, and economic opportunities for small businesses and families.
As a longtime advocate for accessible, high-quality healthcare, I believe in solutions that work—from strengthening Pharmacare to ensuring culturally inclusive policies that reflect the needs of Calgary Skyview's South Asian, immigrant, and working-class communities.
